Course Design
The following syllabi were created for three sections of ENGL-5 at CSU Sacramento. I have also included a "mock course" that I would teach if I had the opportunity of teaching reading skills in an EFL context in Tokyo, Japan. Regarding the ENGL-5 syllabi, you will see how I chose to revise and adapt each syllabus as the semesters passed. The documents below contain both syllabus and course calendar. You may simply scroll through within this site.

MA TESOL Comprehensive Exam
MA TESOL Comprehensive Exam
Below you will find the questions that I received and answers that I provided for the MA TESOL exam that I completed in December 2023. A part of my story in passing my comprehensive exam is that I had successfully passed 2 out of 3 questions from my exam initially. However, the faculty felt that I would benefit from a re-take opportunity for the lesson planning question so that I could pass all 3 questions. Overall, I am grateful for this experience since I saw this as a great opportunity to reflect, learn, and improve my skills as a teacher. That being said, I have included the appendix to the passing Q3.
